Giving in Cool: common questions
Where does this list of charities in Cool come from?
From IRS public records. Only charities the register shows as active are listed, and the list follows the register's updates, so a charity that loses its status drops off.
Why do some charities come first?
Charities with a Givelayer page come first, fuller pages ahead, then every other registered charity. Anything still equal is shuffled each day. No charity can pay to appear higher.
Can I give to every charity listed here?
A charity with a Givelayer page takes gifts on its own page once it has set up payouts. A charity without one shows its public details only; give to it through its own website.
